...a foldable touring seakayak. When I am on the road this folds together and fits in a large duffle bag. Packed like that it fits inside the truck under the fridge, that is where it safely awaits its next adventures on water.
And...
...the black bike, a foldable mountain bike. This comes in very handy, not just as a good alternative to hiking but also when I am parked at some place, have the roof of the truck poped-up and a lot of the gear out; I can just take the bike for short trips to get groceries, do a little tour around the area or alike. Kind of like the Americans pull a full size vehicle behind their RV's.
When on tour the black bike gets very cozy on the side of the truck where I have made an off-road capable bike fixture. Like that it is not sticking up into the trees off the roof or shakes on the back door of the truck like an old freezing grandma in the rumble seat of a Ford Model A.
Very cool additions, Thomas. I hope your time at home for the 50th is great. Today we got to see 1 fox, 2 moose, 3 caribou, and 2 icebergs at the North tip of Newfoundland.
